This was our family home before it became a homestay. Two guest rooms, a shared garden, breakfast included every day. Most guests come here to slow down, not to sightsee.

A Quiet Villa in Wayanad

Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two are large suites; two are studios with their own kitchen and living area. One of each type is downstairs, one upstairs, which is useful if someone in your group would rather not climb stairs. The upstairs rooms share a balcony looking out over the hills.

"The homestay is a charming brick bungalow situated on a lush, green, heavily vegetated lot. The owners are interesting, well-travelled individuals who now have returned to their roots and obviously enjoy welcoming guests. The breakfasts provided were delicious local fare with the ingredients coming from the truly organic farm this couple produces. It was interesting to learn a small amount about true zero cost and organic farming. The ensuite bedroom with separate entrance was clean, welcoming and functional."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mr. and Mrs. Soman's residence. The location of the house is very beautiful with so much greenery around. Mrs. Soman cooked delicious breakfast for us. My mother liked it a lot. Mr. Soman was so proactive in everything, like guiding us to his residence for the first time, letting us know the tourist spots, preparing meals, etc. I would definitely recommend this place to all who are planning to visit Wayanad."

"We had the most amazing stay at Cheeral Green with Soman ji being one of the friendliest hosts that we've come across recently. From the crystal clear directions and amazing food reccos, to the tour he gave us of his property where we got the most memorable souvenirs from his gardens, we had a great time during our stay. Regarding the acco, though the place was a stone's throw from shops and restaurants, but it offered us a pocket of nature that seemed to be just ours. Hope we get to stay here again!"

"We stayed at Soman's homestay for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience! He is an exceptional host, the best ever honestly. He curate an itineray for you, serve you delicious home-cooked breakfast, give you a tour of farm and also shoot reels for you. He also has a new property adjacent to his own which is great too if you don't want to stay with him. Go for it guys, you'll love it :)"
