Cookie Policy

A short, honest account of what this site stores in your browser.

Nothing in either cookie category runs on this site until you say yes, and you can decide the two categories separately. Here is the honest, complete version of what that means and what we use.

What This Policy Covers

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser, used to remember something between visits. This page lists what cheeralgreen.com actually stores, and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Off Until You Choose

When you land on this site, a card asks whether you're fine with cookies for analytics and advertising. You can choose Reject, Accept All, or Customize to decide separately. Until you choose Accept for a category, nothing in that category runs and no cookie beyond what's strictly needed to remember your choice is set. You can change your mind at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page.

We don't run retargeting pixels or any tool that tracks you across other websites for general advertising purposes. The two categories below are the only ones that exist on this site.

Analytics

Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session activity, such as scrolling and clicks, so we can see how the site is actually used and fix anything that's confusing. It sets a cookie to tell repeat visits apart from new ones. It doesn't collect names, emails, or anything you haven't typed on this site, and it masks form text by default.

Google Analytics tells us which pages get visited and roughly how, using pseudonymous identifiers rather than anything that names you directly.

Both run through Google Tag Manager, a container that lets us add or adjust measurement tools without editing the site's code each time. The container itself loads on every visit, but the tools inside it are switched off by default and only activate once you accept the Analytics category, using a standard the industry calls Google Consent Mode.

Advertising

If we run Google Ads campaigns, Google Ads conversion tracking tells us when someone who clicked an ad went on to submit the contact form, click to call, or click to WhatsApp, so we know which ads are actually worth running. It sets a linking cookie to connect an ad click to that later action. This only activates if you accept the Advertising category.

Other Tools We Use

Google Search Console doesn't set a cookie in your browser. It's a dashboard we use on our side to see aggregated search performance, not a script that runs on this page.

Third-Party Pages We Link To

Some pages link to WhatsApp and Instagram, and the Contact page embeds a Google Maps view. Once you open one of those, cookies belonging to that company may apply, governed by their own policies, not ours.

Managing or Clearing This

Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the preferences card and change either category at any time. Turning a category off after previously accepting it clears the cookies that category had set. You can also block or clear cookies directly through your browser's own settings; that won't stop the contact form from working, since it doesn't rely on cookies either way.
