What We Collect, and When
We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't run online payments through this site. The only place we ask you for personal details is the contact form, either the popup version or the one on the Contact page. That form collects your name, email address, phone number, and whatever message you write, along with the dates and stay details you choose to share.
When you submit that form, it's sent through a service called FormSubmit, which delivers it straight to our email inbox. We use that information to answer your enquiry, confirm a booking, or follow up about your stay. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to keep in touch.
If you book through a WhatsApp conversation, phone call, or email instead of the form, the same principle applies: whatever you share with us there is used only to arrange and manage your stay.
What This Website Automatically Records
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs for every website it hosts, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We don't access these logs for anything beyond basic security and keeping the site running.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, a free tool that shows us anonymised recordings of how visitors use the site, so we can see which pages are confusing or slow. Clarity masks text you type into forms by default and doesn't tell us who you are by name. It does set a cookie in your browser to recognise repeat visits. Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to see how this site performs in Google Search results: which search terms bring people here and which pages get clicked. That data is aggregated by Google and doesn't identify individual visitors to us.
Third-Party Links and Embeds
Some pages link out to WhatsApp, Instagram, or embed a Google Maps view on the Contact page. Once you follow one of those links or interact with an embedded map, you're on that company's platform and their own privacy policy applies, not this one.
How Long We Keep Your Details
We keep enquiry and booking correspondence for as long as is reasonably useful, generally for our own records and in case you return as a guest. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. If you'd like us to delete the details you've sent us, email us and we'll do it.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging a stay. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the contact form isn't intended for use by minors.
Changes to This Policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. We won't bury a material change without saying so.
