Cheeral Green Homestay & Villa is a family-run homestay and villa in Wayanad, Kerala, India. This website is operated by the Cheeral Green host family. Using this site, or booking a stay through it, means you accept these terms. If something here doesn't sit right with you, get in touch before booking and we'll talk it through.
Using This Website
This site is here to help you decide whether to stay with us and to make contacting us easy. You're welcome to browse, read, and share it. You shouldn't scrape it, copy it wholesale for another site, or use it in a way that disrupts it for other visitors.
The text, photos, and design on this site belong to Cheeral Green unless a caption says otherwise (some photos on our Places to Visit in Wayanad page carry a Wikimedia Commons credit and their own licence). Don't reuse our photos or writing elsewhere without asking first.
Enquiries and Bookings
This website doesn't process bookings or take payment on its own. The contact form, WhatsApp, phone, and email are all ways to reach us so we can work out dates, rates, and availability together. A booking is only confirmed once we've agreed on it directly with you, generally in writing over WhatsApp or email, not the moment you submit a form.
Rates shown or quoted can change with season, occupancy, and availability. The price we confirm with you at the time of booking is the one that applies to your stay.
Cancellations and Changes
Because every booking is arranged directly with us rather than through an automated system, cancellation and rescheduling terms are confirmed with you at the time of booking rather than fixed here as a blanket policy. If your plans change, message us as early as you can. We deal with these things reasonably and case by case, the way a family-run place should.
During Your Stay
We ask guests to treat the property, the family, and other guests with the same care they'd want shown to their own home. You're responsible for any damage caused during your stay beyond normal wear and use. If something breaks or goes wrong, tell us rather than trying to fix it yourself; we'd rather sort it out together.
Wayanad is a rural, hilly district, and some of the places we point guests toward (waterfalls, trekking routes, wildlife sanctuaries) carry real outdoor risk, weather can change quickly, and terrain can be slippery or steep. Any activity you do beyond the property itself, including anything mentioned on our Places to Visit in Wayanad page or our Journal, is at your own judgement and risk. We'll always give you our honest, practical advice if you ask.
Third-Party Links and Services
This site links to WhatsApp, Instagram, and Google Maps, and uses FormSubmit to deliver contact form messages. Each of those runs under its own terms, which we don't control. See our Privacy Policy for what data goes where.
No Guarantee, Reasonable Effort
We keep this site accurate to the best of our ability, but availability, prices, and details can change faster than a website page does. If anything here ever conflicts with what we've agreed with you directly, the direct agreement holds. We're not liable for losses arising from your use of this website beyond what Indian law requires of us; we are, however, always reachable if something's gone wrong and we'll do right by you.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.
Changes to These Terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Terms already agreed for a confirmed booking won't be changed retroactively.
